Wendy Doulton, Principal
Wendy is a dynamic and accomplished Headhunter and Career Coach with over 15 years of industry experience. She discovers, directs and advances business professionals, finding and developing top-tier talent. Known for her targeted, to the point approach, Wendy coaches companies and candidates with candor to cultivate corporate and individual success.
She splits her time between recruiting for premium companies and partnering with professionals to progress their careers. Wendy founded Katalyst Career Group (KCG) on the premise that great companies hire great people and her passion for helping people reach their potential. Mentoring recent grads to senior executives, Wendy consults jobseekers and employees on job search strategy, networking, resume writing, interview etiquette, promotions, transitions, salary negotiation and intrapreneurship/entrepreneurship.
A consummate entrepreneur herself, Wendy is the Principal at The Katalyst Group (KG), a well-reputed executive search firm. KG partners with clients to include Sony, Fox, Amazon, Discovery Communications, Fremantle Media, Hulu and Palm, Inc.
Wendy’s consulting experience coupled with her in-house talent acquisition leadership roles at companies such as Yahoo Media Group, DreamWorks and Google give her a truly balanced and informed perspective of what it takes to get the job and then to succeed once you’re hired!
Born in the United States, Wendy was raised and educated in England, France and Spain where she earned her BA in International Relations and Economics. She is fluent in Spanish and French. Wendy currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and works with clients on a global basis.
